The manual outlines the various procedures, policies, regulations, safety, and lifesaving precautions for embarked personnel. The University of Miami encourages all users to review the UNOLS Research Vessel Safety Standards (RVSS) - link to the RVSS is in the references list to the left. The RVSS provides the safety standards followed aboard R/V F.G. Walton Smith.
