The Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Science's Outreach Program works in tandem with faculty and students to bridge the University to the general public and all of the communities of South Florida. Outreach at the Rosenstiel School aids faculty with science proposals and with synergetic partnerships with science museums and South Florida school districts.

The Rosenstiel School's stellar faculty, cutting edge research, and state-of-the-art marine science laboratories make Rosenstiel School a top-notch marine science research institution.

Group Tours

Experience our vibrant waterfront campus! The Office of Engagement hosts tours for groups of up to 60 guests Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Perfect for high school and college-age groups or members of the community, our one-hour tours offer a captivating journey into our renowned research facilities and state-of-the-art labs. 

During your visit, you’ll step behind the scenes into our cutting-edge research facilities, where faculty and students bring science to life. You'll engage with those actively driving our mission forward and gain insight into the inspiring work happening every day on our campus. While specific lab availability depends on faculty schedules, we’re committed to providing a personalized experience and will work to meet any specific interests or requests.

Because of the high demand for our tours, we’re currently unable to accommodate elementary and middle school groups. However, we’d love to connect with your students! Educators are encouraged to explore our Students for Students outreach program, where Rosenstiel School graduate students bring the excitement of science directly to your classroom!
